Stoneheart
I'm reading this book called Stoneheart. It's really good. It's about this boy who broke off a dragon statue's head, and now is caught in this other world where statues talk. I think it's reallllly good and I really like the way it's written.

The Diamond of Drury Lane By:Surya (part two)
The former African slave, who's name is Pedro, plays the role in the a main play called The Mogul's tale. The plays seen by Lord Francis and Lady Elizabeth who are the children of one of London's dukes. They invite Pedro to come over and play violin for a party they're having but Pedro wants Cat to come to so he says she'll write a story for them. Cat calls her story the The Diamond of Drury Lane. After she reads her story at the party Lord Francis asks if he can come no one of their adventures and Pedro invites him to a boxing mach that sunday.
I finally found a copy!!In the first chapter, Opal Koboi, the evil pixie from the 2nd book was in an expensive fairy/magical creature hospital. She supposedly was in a coma, but at first, the hospital was suspicious of her and were worried that she might be faking the coma, a skill found in some pixies. The hospital started out with a dozen guards watching her in her cell, (It is a hospital with some rooms that are cells) a bunch of cameras around her, and 4 DNA scans a day. Once the coma lasted for almost a year, and with the mind wave detector thingies picking up only a few dream spikes now and then, though, the hospital people were pretty sure it was a real coma. The amount of guards dropped to one, and there was only one DNA scan a day. After almost 2 years, Opal Koboi still seemed to be in a coma. But it turned out that she really had been faking it, and her mind was almost disconnected to her body, in a way, but nobody knew but her and the two janitors, who were also pixies and were working for Opal Koboi. They were keeping it a secret, though. They made a clone of Opal Koboi that had her DNA, and helped her get out, replacing her with the clone.
Meanwhile, Artemis, who is still mind wiped, is after a painting called The Fairy Thief. He and Butler broke into a bank by tricking the person there, and they have just gotten the painting. It was funny, because Artemis was discised as an antisocial, sarcastic, teenager, and he did a really good, hilarious impression. I think that when they look closely at the stolen painting, it will trigger their lost memories of the fairies.
Nerd Camp chapter # TiNo
Zack, Gabe's new brother, came home from school and he had trouble on it. Gabe helped Zack with his math and Gabe told Zack that he was going to give Zack flashcards to help him. Zack said he had to go to the bathroom and took his time so he didn't have to do it. but it didn't work. It was bed time and since Gabe's dad married Zack's mom, Zack had to take Gabe's bedroom and Gabes wasn't to happy with that. Gabe's dad walked in Zack's room (Gabe's room) and told them that he would get another bed so the both can have a room together. So Gabe's dad said that Gabe would have to sleep on the floor. Gabe pulled out his mattress and sleep on the floor. Zack felt really bad so he slept on the floor with Gabe.

The Journy to The River Sea, Eva Ibbotson Elya
This book is incredible. It is about this girl, who is an orphan, and is living in a girls orphanage in England, until her lawyer finds a very distant relative in the Amazon in Brazil. The governess whom is going to be with Maia for the while she is away, is a harsh but kind thin and black woman. Her and Maia's relationship grows over time, and Maia makes many friends. The family she is staying with is snotty and poor, always hungry for money. The mother, a fat and bug freak kind of woman, who sprays every single centimeter of the house with bug repellent, and insect away stuff. Maia makes some important friends, who help her in the end, and make sure that she is safe. I have left out most of the book, so you will need to see for yourself.
The Hot and Cold Summer

This book is about to friends, Rory and Derek who have known each for most of their life. In the summer the old lady who lives between the two boys, invites her niece to spend the whole summer with her while her parents are in Turkey. Rory who's really bossy and always tells Derek what to do, thinks the idea is awful and doesn't want to be her friend because she's a girl and because his mom told him to. So when she gets there Rory and Derek run away to their friends house who is super boring.
The Beacon Street Girls- the end
This book ends with Charlotte and her friends who have forgiven her, going to the housekeeper woman, who is not letting them own the dog or have free rein around the house. At first, Charlotte doesn't like the housekeeper, who's name is Ruby and is kind of mean and strict. At first the housekeeper won't listen to the girls. But then someone pulls up outside of the house and the principal who helped Charlotte on the first day of school comes out and talks to the housekeeper, to make her believe that Charlotte and her little friends didn't do anything. It turns out that the housekeeper and the principal were actually really good friends when they were the girls age.
This book ends with Charlotte fitting in really well, and every being happy. I liked this book a lot and I would reccomend it to any one.

.........
I was going to share this short story that I wrote, instead of blogging about a book, because the book I requested from the library hasn't come yet. But I'm not sure if I should share this short story, because it might freak somebody out really badly, so if this stuff makes you cringe, don't say you weren't warned. Here is a poem:
Ned and Ted like red
Ned and Ted have red heads
Someone killed Ned and Ted
Ned and Ted are dead
Ned and Ted died in red beds
The murderer has fled
The court sees red

Artemis Fowl 3 blog by clara
Artemis Fowl
The Eternity code
I finished the book, and (SPOILER ALERT) it had a really satisfying ending, except that they succeeded in the mind wipe. Luckily, Artemis gave a secret message to Mulch Diggums, so I think that in the next book Mulch is going to go to Artemis and trigger his memories of the fairies.
My favorite chapter in the book was a few chapters before the mind wipe. The title of the chapter was "The Invisible Man". In it, Butler makes Arno Blunt confess in a room where the police are keeping him. The way Butler does it, is he messes with the cameras in the room a little with help from Holly, so that they don't pick up his voice, and puts on camouflage foil so that he just looks like a little heat shimmer. Then he convinces Arno that he is a ghost.

Nerd CaMp #1 TiNo
The book I'm ready is pretty good so far for the first chapter. Gabe's mom and dad are divorced so, Gabe went to visit his dad and his step mom. Gabe's real mom wanted him to be nice to his step mom because Gabe was a little upset that his dad got a girlfriend. Gabe's mo wanted him to go to a sleep away camp.Gabe went to school and in their school who ever read the most books gets a duffle bag, so of course Gabe won and he was only going to use it for swimming class.
The Diamond of Drury Lane By:Surya
The Diamond of Drury Lane is a book about an orphan named Cat who has lived in a theater (the Theater Royal) all her life as has no money at all. Cat has long red hair, green eyes, and is 4 foot 4. One night during a riot a mysterious visitor comes comes to Drury lane to drop off a diamond and Cat accidentally over heard their conversation and Mr. Sherman (the head of the theater and the one is inheriting the diamond) gives her a special job to make sure no one comes snooping around for the diamond. Then a former African slave comes to the theater to play violin and act.
The Beacon Street Girls
This book is getting worse, and worse. All that is happening is Charlotte trying to fit in more, while she's trying to hide the fact that she's actually not allowed into the lower part of her house with her friends... I think that since Charlotte has really good friends... they wouldn't mind if Charlotte was just lying about her freedom in her house. I wish I lived in a mansion like Charlotte's house.
I think that this book is good it just needs to be a little more exciting. I think that the author is a good writer, and that i would recommend this book to people who like good... slow books.

The Dwarves -Jonas
This book is by Markus Heitz. It is about a dwarf named Tungdil. Tungdil was raised by a magus named Lot Ionan. Tungdil was sent on a mission by Lot Ionan to deliver some things to his friend of his. He eventually found the person but he was dead and on the way there he met some dwarves for the first time. Tungdil and the other two dwarves Boindil and Boendel went back to Lot Ionan where they found everyone dead. so they went to the dwarven stronghold Ogers Death. This is just the beginning of the book, this is a very good book that i would recomend to people ages 11 and up who like fantasy, war and some politics.

Mr Poppers penguins Emma
MR Poppers penguins is about a guy named Tom Popper and he lives on his own. He is divorced and has 2 kids. One day he gets a call saying that his father died and then a package as a gift from his father. The gift is the penguins. He doesn't really like them but his kids really do so he keeps them.
I thought the book was ok but it wasn't my favorite I would recommend it to younger people, like 4th grade to when you begin reading chapter books.
